Punita is a visual artist, teacher and liberation seeker working through a variety of artistic mediums. Her art seeks to bring to attention love; be it self-love, love for humanity or deep love for the planet mother earth. She embarks to illustrate that what we do to the planet, we do to ourselves. Her art seeks to convey the message that to be human is to be flawed and divine, impermanent and permanent, significant and insignificant. Spiritual faculties play a significant
role in her paintings. Her art represents transformation; to move from shallow, prejudiced and fearful realities to one that loves, compassionate, abundant and peaceful. Her work captures the dream state of mind and she works to create a space where reality and fiction meets.
